Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining financial records, including but not limited to invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Support in data entry, reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation.
- Aid in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and reports under the direction of senior finance personnel.
- Contribute to variance analysis and assist in identifying discrepancies in financial statements.
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and timely payments.
- Collaborate in month-end and year-end closing activities and help ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Support in generating financial reports, performing basic analysis, and preparing presentations for financial reviews.
- Assist in conducting research and gathering data for financial projects or analyses as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2 – 3 years of prior experience in a junior finance or accounting role.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
