Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
The quantity surveyor will be responsible for analyzing budgets, reviewing plans, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with contractors and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimations for construction projects.
- Analyze costs, recommend procurement strategies, and monitor expenditure.
- Negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, and control project costs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve commercial issues.
- Provide reports on cost performance and budget analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
- Maintain records related to cost management and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in Quantity Surveying on construction projects.
- Understanding of cost management principles.
