Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cafe Assistant Manager at Peppermint Cafe in Colombo. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cafe, ensuring excellent customer service, managing food and beverage inventory, supervising the food service team, and driving sales. They will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, handling customer complaints, and assisting the Manager in various administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Customer Service and Communication skills
- Experience in Food & Beverage industry
- Knowledge of Food Service regulations and standards
- Sales skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Leadership and supervisory experience
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Previous experience in cafe management is a plus
- Degree in Hospitality or related field is a plus
