Job Description

As the Category Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of product categories, from strategy development to execution. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, maximizing profitability, and enhancing the overall competitiveness of our products in the market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in category management, a proven track record of success, and a passion for driving results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.
• Analyze market data, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, and promotions to optimize sales and profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and operations to execute category initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure product availability and quality.
• Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead and develop a team of category managers and specialists to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in category management or related roles, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
