Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements.
- Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
- Perform database maintenance tasks like indexing, backups, and restores.
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries for efficiency.
- Ensure database security with access controls and encryption.
- Analyze and tune database performance using tools like SQL Profiler.
- Implement data integrity through constraints, triggers, and foreign keys.
- Comply with data privacy regulations and implement security measures.
- Design disaster recovery solutions including replication and log shipping.
- Ensure high availability through clustering and failover techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in database administration with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in T-SQL for writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Knowledge of database security best practices and high availability solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
