Job Description
The Role
- Responsible for smooth functioning of IT-related operations in all LAUGFS group of companies.
- Operating a service desk to resolve day-to-day IT-related issues for all end users via the ITSM system while maintaining service levels.
- Handling Security Centre (Virus Guard) for the end-users and server-side to fulfill the security requirements.
- Software and Hardware Troubleshooting
- Maintain Head Office PABX system
- Responsible for the distribution of Daily, Monthly, and Year-End data backup tapes from Head Office to the outside store locations.
- Maintenance of the IT asset inventory. Ensure IT asset inventory tally with the Fixed Assets Register.
- Update newly purchased IT related equipment inventories to IMS and distribute that equipment to the end users/relevant locations.
- SAP related ticket logging to POTENZA
- Maintain Head Office Managed printer Solutions.
- Maintain and Check the functionality of the meeting room.
- Facilitate smooth transition of users through the onboarding process.
- Maintain close cooperation and coordination with relevant IT equipment providers, internet service providers, IT service providers, and IT organizations.
Qualification
- Diploma in Computer Science or relevant
- Vendor Certification in Microsoft/Cisco/Linux or any other related
- ITIL Certification will be an added advantage
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT service management, IT operations, or related fields
- Excellent team management skills
- Should have excellent negotiation skills to deal with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work long hours
