Job Description

Executive Research & Development

We are searching for a dedicated and socially conscious Research & Development Executive to contribute our organization’s research & development team in creating and implementing strategies that ensure sustainability and organizational growth.

Responsibilities:

·       Provide innovative thinking & practical solutions to commercial challenges across the fashion industry from

concept to consumer. (Local & Global)

·       Collect data related to the fashion industry in order to forecast trends and develop strategies.

·       Prepare proposals and applications to external parties.

·       Analyzing and interpreting the results of own research and generating original ideas based on outcomes.

·       To manage the process of finding & creating new products & Services and ideas for organization.

Requirements:

• Must possess a degree or professional qualification relating to research & development. (In the filed of Fashion Industry would be an added advantage)
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in database management.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the field of research & development.

Candidate should be:

·      Able to analyze trends locally and internationally and propose trends, products and fashion to develop.

·      Understand customer psychology in fashion and give solutions to their problems.

·      Understand consumer, conduct consumer research, develop products based on consumer needs, wants and

trends.

·      Able to do product testing short term and long terms and develop strategies.

·      Having the knowledge of Material/Textile  and Quality aspects of Fashion is an added advantage.

·      Identify Market Gaps and forecast and predict Fashion trends.

·      Able to conduct competitor analysis and identify what we could do better.

·      Able to identify improvements in existing product ranges.

·      Focus on innovations.
