Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and prioritize service requests, dispatching vehicles based on availability and proximity.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to provide clear instructions and updates on assignments.
- Monitor vehicle movements and address any deviations or disruptions in service.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, trip details, and client information.
- Collaborate with the operations team to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or dispatching is a plus.
- Prior experience in dispatching, logistics, or a similar role, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with dispatching software and GPS tracking systems is advantageous.
