Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Group Accountant in Colombo. The Group Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing financial insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA) is a plus
