Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting activities, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and preparing financial statements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations
- Audit and reconcile sales registers daily
- Prepare specialized financial reports
- Execute monthly general ledger tasks
- Assist in external and internal audits
- Participate in special projects and process improvements
Experience and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Degree in Accounting/Finance, preference for CA, CPA, or CIMA
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Big 4 audit firm experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficient in computerized accounting systems
- Self-management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel for data handling
