Job Description

Develop production plans and schedules based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and lead times from suppliers.

Communicate production requirements to suppliers, place purchase orders, and follow up on order status to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.

Work closely with suppliers and quality control teams to maintain product quality standards and resolve any quality issues that may arise during production.

Monitor production costs and work with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and discounts to maximize profitability.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams’ operations to align production plans with business goals and priorities.

Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements in production workflows.

Generate reports on production performance, KPIs, and provide insights for improvement.
