Job Description

A leading cosmetics brand, Uconnect, is looking for a talented Modern Trade Manager to drive brand success. The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with exceptional relationship-building skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies effectively.
• Create customized business plans for customers.
• Visit customer headquarters regularly and conduct review meetings.
• Expand market reach within Modern Trade channels.
• Ensure timely payment processes with customers.
• Track business KPIs and report updates promptly.
• Introduce color cosmetics in targeted Modern Trade chains.
• Launch brand and product initiatives timely.

Qualifications:

• Hold a relevant degree in marketing or related field (CIM UK/SLIM).
• Have 6-8 years of experience in modern trade.
• Prior experience in beauty/cosmetics or personal care products category is required.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of 55 beauty advisors.
• Maintain strong supermarket channel relationships in Sri Lanka.
