Job Description
HALO is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Outbound Travel Manager to lead and develop our outbound travel operations in Sri Lanka. You will be responsible for crafting strategic travel packages, fostering strong industry relationships, and overseeing our successful Destination Management Company (DMC) services.
As a Manager, you will:
- Leverage extensive GDS expertise to effectively source and negotiate competitive rates for flights, accommodation, and other travel components.
- Provide leadership and direction for our DMC operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Manage and motivate a team of outbound travel specialists (if applicable) to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant travel regulations and visa requirements.
About you:
- In-depth knowledge and proven application of GDS systems for outbound travel is a must.
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrably successful experience in managing outbound travel operations from Sri Lanka.
- Proven ability to achieve and surpass sales targets in a competitive travel industry environment.
- Strong understanding of DMC operations and best practices.
