Job Description

The project requires development of formulation and its stability studies. Full thickness wounds will be made on which the gel will be applied for assessing its healing properties. The student will be involved in discussion with my MPharm and PhD students. Candidate will have to go to an animal house, which is a state-of-the-art facility for performing animal experimentation. Development of gel formulation and its physicochemical properties to be done [Pharmaceutics related]. Study of different anesthesia used for lab animals and a suitable one to be employed during wound infliction. Assessment of wound closure by ImageJ software.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

  • Formulation development and stability studies.
  • Application of gel on full-thickness wounds for assessing healing properties.
  • Collaboration with MPharm and PhD students for discussions.
  • Conducting experiments at the animal house facility.
  • Evaluation of wound closure using ImageJ software.
