Project Management:

• Plan and execute the entire OBS project life cycle, managing both on-site and off-shore project teams, suppliers, and customer dependencies.
• Oversee all workstreams, including Design, Infrastructure/Data Center, Software Development & Testing, Training, Business Change, and Transition to Support.
• Manage project tasks according to schedule, track progress, and address any delays.
• Manage the project budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial plans.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, reports, and communication.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Implement change control procedures and obtain sign-offs from relevant stakeholders.

Client Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary local OBS contact for the Sri Lankan government customer and other key stakeholders.
• Maintain close communication with stakeholders, proactively addressing any concerns or delays.

Governance & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to OBS Governance policies regarding internal status and financial reporting.

Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management
• Experience managing complex IT projects (highly preferred)
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies
• Experience working in a cross-cultural environment
• Fluency in English and proficiency in Sinhala (a plus)
• Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in project management software
