Role: Project Manager
Contract: 6 Months
About the Role:
John Keells Infomate is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead the migration of our Document Management System (DMS) to a new, cutting-edge platform. In this critical role, you’ll play a pivotal role in streamlining our document management processes and enhancing efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the entire DMS migration project lifecycle, from planning and communication to execution and post-implementation support.
- Partner closely with the vendor to ensure a smooth transition, manage expectations, and address any potential roadblocks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, provide training, and ensure user adoption of the new system.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage project risks and dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.
- Track progress, measure success metrics, and report on project status to key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in stakeholder management, change management, and risk management a plus.
- Experience with document management systems and migration processes is highly desirable.
