Job Description
Job Duties:
- Develop customized tour itineraries based on client preferences and budgets.
- Research and negotiate rates with hotels, transportation providers, and activity operators.
- Manage all logistics for tours, including transportation, accommodation, and activity bookings.
- Communicate effectively with clients before, during, and after their trip to address questions and concerns.
- Build strong relationships with travel vendors and tourism partners.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tour Executive.
- GCE, Advance Level qualification and/or higher education qualification related to Tourism management.
- Experience in organizing MICE/Events will be advantageous.
- Proven experience in itinerary planning, vendor management, and travel logistics.
- Fluency in English a must, additional languages will be a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a good rapport with clients.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- In-depth knowledge of destination Sri Lanka is a strong asset.
- A passion for travel and a genuine desire to create exceptional client experiences.
- Living in or in close proximity to Rajagiriya would be advantageous.
